Dr. Philip John has been invited to speak on “The Neural Basis of Autism” at the British Indian Psychiatric Association (BIPA) Annual Conference in UK on 13th June. This follows Dr. Philip John’s election as International Fellow, American Psychiatric Association at their convocation ceremony in May this year.
This invitation for Lecture, among stalwarts like Dr. Matcheri S. Keshavan, Stanley Cobbs Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School and Prof. Peter Jones, University of Cambridge has come as a great recognition to our work in the field of Autism and Developmental Disorders.

The Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) has nominated Dr. Philip John, Sr. Consultant Psychiatrist, as National Chairman 2015-16, IPS Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Specialty Section.
This nomination is a first from the state, in recognition to his contribution to the field ofAutism and other Developmental Disorders at the state and national level for several decades, and will go a long way to develop Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services in the region.
